Role Overview
As an Account Executive, you will play a critical role within our Client organization. You will serve as the primary relationship owner for existing Payer clients, taking ownership of account growth and retention strategies.
You will deepen our understanding of each client's market strategy, executive priorities, and strategic initiatives at the most senior levels. Your work directly strengthens revenue retention, expands solution adoption, and enhances Veradigm's long‑term strategic position within each account.

Key Responsibilities
Sales & Revenue Performance
- Achieve annual sales order intake quotas and regional/territory targets
- Accurately forecast sales by product, timeline, and value
- Clearly communicate opportunity risks and upside to leadership
Pipeline Growth
- Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities within our client base
- Lead the strategic sales cycle, including executive engagement and stakeholder alignment
- Design tailored business solutions that integrate Veradigm services and software
- Deliver compelling sales presentations and negotiate contracts
Account Management & Renewals
- Own renewal of MSA, BAA, and SOW agreements to maintain revenue run rate
- Manage change orders, amendments, and account servicing in partnership within the Veradigm operations and support teams
- Develop and expand C‑suite and senior executive relationships within each account
Customer Success
- Improve customer satisfaction and strengthen referenceability/net promoter scores
- Address customer concerns with urgency and manage escalations effectively
- Minimize attrition through high-quality support and strong client relationships
Account Planning & Reporting
- Maintain accurate and current account plans along with opportunity strategies
- Ensure complete and up-to-date information in CRM
- Prepare and submit sales reports outlining sales volume, pipeline potential, and regional growth opportunities
Education
- Bachelor's degree with 710 years of relevant account management and sales experience preferred
Experience & Competencies
- Strong understanding of Healthcare landscapes and relevant market data
- Awareness of current business trends affecting Healthcare organizations
- Deep understanding of client business goals, financial drivers, strategy, and challenges
- Proven ability to cultivate trust-based relationships with executive leaders and decision-makers
Travel Requirements
- Ability to travel 2040% as needed
Compensation Range:
$61,435-$81,402Enhancing Lives and Building Careers
