Responsibilities
- Articulating the Hexagon value proposition and communicating the competitive advantages, resources, and processes to customers.
- Developing customer account strategies while establishing, documenting, and maintaining solid communication and follow-up activities for all assigned accounts.
- Responsible for prospecting in the assigned territory to achieve a qualified pipeline
- Responsible for generating software license revenue for the assigned territory and accounts to achieve and/or exceed the revenue quota
- Responsible for coordinating closely with Hexagon counterparts in consulting, customer success and supporting teams to maximize revenue capture from customers in the assigned territory.
- Maintaining a 4 x pipeline and achieving consistent quarterly quota.
Education / Qualifications
- 2-5 years software / SaaS sales experience
- Ability to establish and manage various customer level relationships including executive-level
- Ability to handle multiple sales cycles simultaneously
- Familiarity with Salesforce.com for managing pipeline activities
- Willingness to travel 40-50%
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience selling into the Public Safety vertical OR previous experience in Public Safety as a First Responder or in a Dispatch related role
- Ability to work effectively in a matrix-management environment with extended team members
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills: writing, editing, and presenting
- Ability to present technical concepts clearly to customers and the sales team
- Proactive selling, agility, outside-the-box thinking, and prescriptive solutions
- Eagerness to delve into and learn new technologies
