Description
Shelton Academy LLC seeks an Activities & General Manager in Doral, Florida who will be responsible for: developing & overseeing the implementation of the company's curriculum & providing developmentally appropriate play & classroom environments; recruiting, hiring, supervising, disciplining, & firing the Operations Manager, Project Manager, Curriculum & Coaching Manager; analyzing and interpreting multiple data sources to inform school-level improvement efforts, implementing data-driven plans for improved teaching & learning; providing staff the opportunity to obtain professional development training; maintaining state training requirements. Ensuring the health & safety of children, parents, & staff; maintaining accurate accounting of the center tuition daily/weekly & generating reports according to company guidelines; working with subordinates to develop curriculum standards; observing teachers and evaluating learning materials to determine areas where improvement is needed. Maintaining systems for attendance, performance, planning, & other reports; supervising grounds & facilities maintenance; communicating with the Director of Strategy & Development concerning personnel matters as needed. Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in any field, or foreign degree equivalent in any field plus 2 years of exp. in job offered & experience in Educational Leadership, knowledge of State Training requirements, expertise in Data Analysis and exp.
