Description
About Seerist
Seerist is a threat intelligence SaaS company that provides enterprise and government customers with AI-driven analysis of global events. Our platform processes millions of documents daily, combining structured data pipelines with machine learning to deliver early warning and situational awareness at scale. We are building toward a future where agentic AI systems amplify human analysts and automate operational workflows across the business.
Role Overview
The AI Enablement Engineer is a cross-functional technical role responsible for identifying, designing, and deploying AI-powered solutions across every part of Seerist. This person will work with stakeholders in IT, HR, customer support, sales, product, engineering, and operations to find high-leverage opportunities where large language models, agentic workflows, and intelligent automation can transform how the company operates.
This is not a research role. The focus is on shipping working systems that deliver measurable value: reducing manual effort, accelerating decision-making, and building the operational infrastructure for an AI-native company. The right person combines strong software engineering fundamentals with practical experience deploying LLM-based systems in production.
Responsibilities
Discovery and Prioritization
- Partner with leaders across all departments to identify workflows that are candidates for AI augmentation or automation
- Evaluate opportunities based on effort, impact, and feasibility; maintain a prioritized backlog of AI enablement initiatives
- Conduct rapid prototyping and proof-of-concept work to validate approaches before committing to full implementation
Design and Implementation
- Build and deploy agentic AI systems, including LLM-powered assistants, automated pipelines, and intelligent tooling
- Integrate AI capabilities into existing business systems (CRM, ticketing, internal tools, data platforms)
- Design robust, production-grade solutions with appropriate error handling, monitoring, and fallback mechanisms
- Implement retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems, prompt engineering frameworks, and tool-use architectures
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Serve as the primary technical resource for AI adoption across non-engineering teams
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver working solutions
- Train and support internal teams on AI tools and workflows
- Document patterns, best practices, and architectural decisions for reuse across the organization
Technical Leadership
- Evaluate and recommend AI platforms, APIs, and frameworks (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, open-source models)
- Establish standards for responsible AI use, including data privacy, security, and governance
- Monitor the rapidly evolving AI landscape and advise leadership on relevant developments
- Contribute to Seerist's broader AI and platform strategy in partnership with the CTO
