Description
TPF Software Inc. seeks Application Technical Lead (Pembroke Pines, FL & unanticipated locations throughout the US). Responsible for the design, development, implementation, and support of mission critical application, TPS (Transaction Processing System). Collaborate with SMEs and functional leads to gather and understand requirements across various phases of the project lifecycle and the release timelines. Design and implement solutions in TPS aligning to the business needs and objectives. Develop critical paths of the TPS application as per the requirement and assist in sharing the tasks to the development team. Conduct code reviews for production deployments, provide recommendations for optimization, execute deployments, and validate the solution as part of post implementations. Manage and monitor TPS application in production to ensure high availability, reliability, and performance. Estimate the new project requirements and do low level technical analysis and assist scrum master to write user stories with the required technical details. Assist product owners and scrum master’s for any inputs and guidance required technically to achieve the sprint goal. Consult with SME's and developers for any issues occurred in UAT & Production system to ensure it's fixed in high priority. Resolve impediments and ambiguities on the requirements which development team has or raised during the sprint meeting. Handle technical debt projects to improve the system performance and to ensure safety and soundness of the system. Ensure projects performance testing achieved expected results before planning for the release and perform certification testing to activate the global gates in production system to activate the new functionality. Communicate the project stakeholders and the leads if there is change in release timeline for any internal/external cause. Conduct or participate in retrospective calls to improve the efficiency of the production system and to fine-tune the process. Ensure that all project documentation complies with internal policies and external audit standards.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, (any) Engineering, or related field plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or related IT occupation. Must have 5 years of experience with OS/390 assembler, zTPF, TPF-C and TPFDF.
