Multiple asset portfolio managerAbout the role:
You will be responsible for the performance of a global multi-asset USD and AUD portfolio. This is a role that will require knowledge of offshore funds - particularly those that are USD denominated (developed and emerging markets).
Responsibilities

• The role is a hands-on PM seat, not a research role.
• Expect to run money, form market views, deliver investment outcomes, and defend performance with conviction.
• Manage/ implement multi-asset portfolios across equities, fixed income, alternatives, private markets, hedge funds, and cash strategies.
• Lead the offshore thought process with respect to the tactical asset allocation and implement such positioning efficiently.
• Manage currency exposure, hedging, and liquidity to optimise risk-adjusted returns.
• Build model portfolios and house views for USD and AUD mandates that are consistent with the offshore SAA/TAA framework.

Investment Research & Manager Selection

Identify, evaluate, and monitor global fund managers across long-only, alternatives, and private market strategies.

Conduct due diligence (quant & qual) and negotiate institutional-class fee terms where appropriate.

Maintain a high-quality approved product list with conviction-based recommendations.

Market & Macro Strategy

• Work with the CIO to produce the group's macro views for the local and offshore client base, produce monthly commentary on the market and the portfolio positioning, and thought leadership for clients

Required Experience

7-15+ years of front-office investment experience, with at least 5 years managing or co-managing multi-asset portfolios.

A strong understanding of the offshore investment markets.

Strong track record managing institutional or HNW client portfolios with clear performance attribution.

Experience allocating to global managers plus direct multi-asset exposure (public + private markets).

Strong macro understanding, asset allocation capability, and currency management skillset.

CFA/CAIA/FRM preferred but not essential if a track record is proven.
