Description

Our client is a Hong Kong listed company freight forwarder offering customs clearance, warehousing, and transporting solution, they are targeting a data analytic person to fulfil their expansion on regional business.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain data models, dashboards, and visual displays to support audit planning and reporting.
• Gather, clean, and analyze structured and unstructured data using SQL and Python to find trends and identify issues.
• Collaborate with audit teams to integrate data-driven testing and custom audit methods into projects.
• Develop and automate scripts and workflows to improve recurring audit tasks.
• Ensure compliance with data governance, quality, and security standards in analytics projects.
• Work with IT and business units to enhance data access and integration from financial and operational systems.
• Help in creating early-warning indicators and automated testing using analytics.
• Support innovative projects utilizing Generative AI (GenAI), natural language processing (NLP), or machine learning to improve audit effectiveness.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Statistics, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in data modeling, analytics, business intelligence, or audit analytics, preferably in internal audit or risk management.
• Minimum of 2 years working with modern data platforms and cloud technologies (e.g., Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Experience with automation tools (e.g., Power Automate, UiPath) is a plus.
• Familiarity with embedding analytics into audit workflows is preferred.
• A collaborative team player with cultural awareness, comfortable working in diverse teams.
• Strong analytical and programming skills, capable of solving complex problems and delivering efficient data solutions.
• Proficient in SQL, Power BI, and Python (including libraries like pandas and numpy).
• Good understanding of database management, including designing and querying databases (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL).
• Demonstrates integrity, accountability, and professionalism in handling sensitive data.
• Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese; knowledge of Putonghua is a plus for regional collaboration
