Core Functions & Responsibilities

• Identifying and assessing investment opportunities in private companies, with a primary focus on technology industries spanning AI infrastructure, AI applications, hard tech, etc.
• Constantly developing and renewing sector knowledge, monitoring emerging technology trends and industry evolution to support investment / divestment decisions
• Performing deal evaluation, due diligence, industry / company analysis and financial modelling
• Tracking and managing existing portfolio assets
• Establishing and cultivating relationships with companies / founders, industry experts, and investors within the AI and broader technology ecosystem.

Qualifications & Capabilities

• Education background in science or engineering preferred (ideally in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering from top universities)
• 1-3 years of relevant working experience with a top-tier private equity, investment bank, corporate finance, M&A, research or engineering firm
• Strong analytical insight and work skills; good business sense
• Desire to develop / maintain relationships with intermediaries and relevant institutions
• Good communication, interpersonal & team skills; fluency in Mandarin and English
• Self-starter with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities and to work independently.
