Description
Business Analyst. Multiple Openings. Gather, analyze and evaluate user business problems and development of system recommendations to meet requirements. Gather business requirements and writing Functional Design Documents, Process work flows, System Requirement Specification and UML Diagrams. Work on test strategy development, creating Test Plan, Test Scenarios, Test Cases and performing Regression Testing. Facilitate User Acceptance Testing and Defect Tracking. Translate high-level business requirements into functional and non-functional specifications for business application development. Interview key stakeholders to obtain and document the detailed business requirements for projects. Assist in the business process redesign and documentation as needed for new technology. Assist in writing user stories, use cases, defining acceptance criteria, test cases, and test scenarios. Create UML Diagrams such as process flows, activity diagrams, and use case diagrams using MS-Visio or Lucid charts to analyze behavior and interactions in the system design. Assist technical teams in prioritizing and estimating user stories in an agile environment. Assist QAs and technical teams with testing and identifying bugs, defects and issues. Work in data mapping, data modeling and data warehouse. Work with SQL, Excel, data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), UML, BPMN, other modeling tools, Jira, Confluence, Scrum, Waterfall, Agile principles, SDLC, Figma, Balsamiq, Lucidchart, SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, Python, Java, C#. 40 hrs/wk. Must have a Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Electr Engineering, Engineering and Technology Innovation Management, or a related field (will accept a Bachelor's degree plus 5 years progressive post baccalaureate experience in lieu of Master's) and 6 months experience (or 6 months experience as Management Analyst, or related occupation). Must have 6 months experience gathering business requirements and writing Functional Design Documents, Process work flows, System Requirement Specification and UML Diagrams; Working on test strategy development, creating Test Plan, Test Scenarios, Test Cases and performing Regression Testing; Facilitating User Acceptance Testing and Defect Tracking. Must be willing to travel/relocate to unanticipated locations throughout the US on short notice for extended periods of time. Telecommuting permitted.
