The Business Intelligence Analyst will support the operations of Business Intelligence (BI) and Analytics across the business units of Bluestone Bank to support operations, sales, deposit pricing and profitability, and risk management activities. This position will work directly with the AVP, Business Intelligence.
Essential Functions

- Builds and provides end users with reporting and file output that meets business objectives while ensuring data integrity and validation.
- Performs quality assurance testing on data and BI project deliverables.
- Works with cross-functional teams to ensure that data is accurate.
- Works with the AVP, Business Intelligence to continuously review processes and implement changes aimed to improve effectiveness, reduce costs, and enhance efficiency.
- Works with the AVP, Business Intelligence to provide support for the BI application for users within the Bank. Provides ongoing support as it relates to the application through troubleshooting and problem resolution.
- Assists in maintaining documented procedures for database operation, including objects in production stream.
- Serves as application administrator for BI database application.
- Monitors the status of the BI database application and ensures scheduled file transfers are executed timely. Troubleshoots issues as needed.
- Serves as an administrator to the data analytics dashboarding application and works with business lines to strengthen adoption.
- In order to protect against the rapidly increasing risks on Bank proprietary data and Non-public personal information (NPPI), must practice safe and sound cybersecurity skills as instructed by the Bank and indicated in relevant Bank policies and procedures.
- Remains abreast of Federal, State and Local laws and regulations as they pertain to the position; complies with related laws, regulations and Bank policies and procedures.
- Provides support for ad-hoc projects as assigned.
- Performs other duties as required.
The pay range for this position is $60,000 to $70,000 per year and is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs and affordability.

Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in data analytics or related field.
- Ability to effectively perform data analyses in support of business objectives.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases, SQL, Business Intelligence, and reporting tools.
- Adequate experience in data warehousing, reporting, and analytics.
- Excellent project, organizational and time management skills; ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to take the initiative to communicate with all division heads and management in order to assess specific needs of the division.
- Strong business writing, interpersonal, presentation and oral communication skills; ability to train technical matter to non-technical users and to present and translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial results to identify trends.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft product suite relevant to this position, basic troubleshooting skills, and a basic understanding of workplace technology.
- Excellent presentation skills with solid communication capabilities and practices, both oral and written.
- Works well in a team environment.
