About the Business
Melloy Independent Wealth is a privately owned boutique financial planning firm focused on helping high-net-worth clients. We take the time to listen to each of our clients, understand what is important to them and deliver advice that is unique and tailored to them.
As an "Independent" financial planning firm, our business and our AFSL are 100% privately owned. We do not accept commissions any other form of alternative remuneration that could compromise the quality of our advice. The only revenue we receive is from fees paid directly by our clients, ensuring we work solely in their best interests.
About the role
You will provide direct support to the business owner and lead financial adviser in delivering exceptional service to our clients.
4 days per week from 9:00am to 2:30pm.
After 6 months, 1 day per week working from home.
Total remuneration package of $37,500 to $45,000 per annum (including super) which is a full-time equivalent of $75,000 to $90,000 per annum.

Key Responsibilities
Provide friendly and professional client service, including answering calls and booking appointments.
Prepare and process applications, forms, and other client paperwork accurately.
Liaise with product providers to gather information and assist with advice implementation.
Maintain organised client files and manage workflow tasks efficiently.
Prepare meeting rooms and documentation for client appointments.
Ensure compliance, accuracy, and quality standards are consistently met.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
A positive and friendly personality, with a genuine desire to learn and grow.
Confident communicator with excellent phone and email manners.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
The ability to multi-task, prioritise effectively, and manage your time.
A minimum of 1 year experience working at a financial planning firm.
Knowledge of financial planning strategies and product providers.
The ability to take initiative, learn new systems, and adapt to changing priorities.
Experience with financial planning software (ideally Plutosoft)
