Your new role
This is an Associate/Senior Associate Commercial Lawyer role. You will join an established commercial team led by a Principal, supported by a Senior Associate, Associate, Paralegal and PA.The role offers broad exposure to high-quality commercial work, with direct access to senior lawyers and meaningful client interaction. The firm is open to training and will support your development as you progressively take on greater responsibility.
Your work will include:

• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts
• Advising on corporate and business structuring matters
• Shareholder and joint venture agreements
• Business acquisitions and disposals
• Ongoing advisory work for private companies and family enterprises
• Supporting senior lawyers on more complex transactions and strategic matters

What you'll need to succeed

• 3+ years' post-admission experience in commercial law
• A solid foundation in commercial contracts and corporate advisory work
• Experience gained in a reputable law firm
• A current Australian practising certificate
• A practical, commercially minded approach
• Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with clients
• Reliability, adaptability and a team-focused mindset
