Permanent Full-Time Customer Service Officer role located in South West Brisbane Your new company
HAYS is partnered with a large privately owned manufacturer and supplier. Operating from their head office in West Brisbane, they supply a wide range of building products to trade, retail, and distribution customers across the region. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Customer Service Officer to join their team.
Your new role
As a Customer Service Officer, you will be the first point of contact for customers and play a key role in supporting the internal sales team. Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing inbound telephone enquiries and processing sales orders
• Accurate order entry and data management
• Responding to customer queries and resolving issues promptly
• Liaising with internal teams to ensure smooth workflow and customer satisfaction
• Maintaining a high level of professionalism and service in all interactions
  
  You'll work within a rotating schedule between 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM and 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday.

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous experience in a customer service or sales support role
• Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and ERP systems
• Experience in Pronto is highly advantageous or similar (SAP or Oracle)
• Excellent communication skills and a confident, friendly approach
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and attention to detail
• A reliable, flexible work ethic and a proactive attitude
