We’re looking for an Enterprise Risk Analyst to join our progressive Governance & Risk team. The ideal candidate will monitor, assess and mitigate operational risks throughout the organization.
What you’ll do:
- Compiles regular loss prevention and risk activity reporting and trending analysis, some of which reported to external parties
- Coordinates the development, review, stress-testing, and reporting of the organizational business continuity programs, in conjunction with internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintains the organizational corporate insurance program information, including coordinating the review of coverage, processing of claims, and renewal process with other units and management.
- Coordinates the master insurance and bond policies including annual review, amendments, and archiving of documentation.
- Assists in the development and facilitation of risk workshops while supporting the provision of an objective assessment on the quality and adequacy of the first line of defense’s risk for management activities, in RCSA and change management initiative processes.
- Analyzes first line of defense process changes for correlation of potential risks in other areas of Affinity.
- Leads annual vendor review process while providing technical support for the vendor risk assessment to the first line of defense.
- Reviews and maintains RCSA and the internal control inventory and results.
- Provides support and technical assistance related to risk projects and programs including providing research, risk analysis, and recommendations for program enhancements.
- Engages in budget planning and budget implementation related to business continuity and related initiatives.
- Engages in providing policy advice in relation to recommended enhancements to business continuity planning, corporate insurance, and/ or risk policies and programs.
- Identifies and implements specific measures to detect, deter, and investigate loss instances.
- Coordinates the analysis, review, and approval of organization-wide supplier and lease contracts, including archiving documentation.
- Promotes a strong risk aware culture in which effective risk management is viewed as consistent with Affinity’s core values and is regarded as a key objective in business decisions and processes.

Requirements
What you’ve got:
- A post-secondary diploma or degree in a related field, plus 3 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- In-depth knowledge in business continuity programming, loss prevention, risk assessment and controls, and/or administrating corporate insurance.
- Intermediate knowledge in program coordination, implementation, assessment, and reporting.
- Ability to conduct leading practice research to discover, analyze, and recommend innovative processes.
