About the role
Jamieson Private Wealth is seeking an experienced Financial Planner to join our growing team in Melbourne. This is a full-time position based in our central business district office at 130 Little Collins St Melbourne. As a Financial Planner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality financial advice and planning services to our valued clients.
What you'll be doing
Conducting comprehensive financial needs assessments with clients to understand their goals, risk profiles and investment preferences
Developing tailored financial plans and investment strategies to help clients achieve their short and long-term financial objectives
Providing advice on a range of financial matters including retirement planning, superannuation, taxation, insurance and estate planning
Actively managing client investment portfolios and monitoring performance to ensure alignment with their risk tolerance and objectives
Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients through regular communication and reviews
Staying up-to-date with changes in legislation, financial products and industry best practices
Collaborating with other professionals such as accountants and lawyers to deliver holistic financial solutions
What we're looking for
Degree qualified in financial planning
Minimum 3 years' experience as a qualified Financial Planner
Proven track record of providing comprehensive financial advice and planning services to high-net-worth individuals and families
Strong technical knowledge of financial products, investment strategies and legislation
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex financial concepts in a clear and accessible manner
Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team environment
A commitment to ongoing professional development and upholding the highest ethical standards
