Paradigm is hiring a full-time, remote Onboarding Specialist. The Onboarding Specialist supports the hiring and onboarding process for new employees by managing all aspects of onboarding. Responsibilities include preparing offer letters, initiating background checks, ordering IT equipment, coordinating HR onboarding tasks, registering orientation sessions, and handling I-9/E-Verify verification. The role also involves preparing employee files and ensuring compliance with policies, regulations, and employment laws. Accuracy, attention to detail, and adherence to timelines are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee onboarding from offer to start date.
- Prepare offer letters and initiate background checks.
- Coordinate orientation and payroll setup.
- Order IT equipment and ensure timely system setup.
- Manage I-9/E-Verify compliance.
- Communicate with new hires and resolve onboarding issues.
- Maintain documentation for audits and generate reports.
- Collaborate with departments to ensure a smooth candidate experience.
- Adhere to information security policies.
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 2+ years office experience; HR knowledge preferred.
- Familiarity with HCM/ATS systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and strong computer skills.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
