As an UHNW Banker, Vice President for the Hong Kong market at JP Morgan, the primary responsibility involves cultivating and establishing new UHNW client relationships, utilizing the comprehensive resources and capabilities of the JP Morgan platform. It is essential to understand clients' wealth objectives and investment requirements, and to collaborate with Specialists to deliver exceptional client service, all while adhering to regulatory and internal policies.
Job Responsibilities:
- Drive the initiation of new UHNW client relationships; develop and maintain long-term relationships through professional/personal networks and contacts.
- Articulate and deliver strategic messages to client's portfolio, provide them with regular updates on market trends, portfolio performance, investment opportunities, and associated risks across all asset classes.
- Collaborate with the other integrated team members to provide a high quality of client service.
- Partner with clients with (but not limited to) Know Your Client (KYC) information, suitability profiles, meetings, and address inquiries with precision and care.
- Keep track of clients, Assets Under Management (AUM), revenues using internal systems and perform periodic calculations of account performance.
- Work together with other teams in meeting all compliance, regulatory, risk management, operational, and due diligence requirements and compliance with internal policies.
Required Qualifications, Skills And Capabilities:
- Bachelor degree or its equivalent with a minimum 7 years' experience of wealth management experience along with strong client and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven client management skills and effective communication skills (oral and written) who can positively engage and influence clients as well as internal stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Operate with a high level of integrity and risk awareness.
- Must be a team player and able to work with different business functions across the bank.
- As the role is an important contributor to the strategy of JPM, comfort and experience working with and reporting to senior management is required.
Preferred Qualifications, Skills And Capabilities:
- Ideally understand and have a working knowledge of the private banking key regulatory and control environments that are relevant to the team and be able to manage the accounts accordingly.
