We are seeking a full-time, remote IT Project Manager. The IT Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering information technology projects that support business objectives. This role bridges the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget while meeting quality and security standards. IT Project Managers oversee the full project lifecycle, manage risks and dependencies, and coordinate cross-functional teams in dynamic, often complex environments.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of IT projects, from initiation through closure
- Define project scope, objectives, milestones, and success criteria
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets
- Coordinate resources across internal teams and external vendors
- Facilitate project governance, status reporting, and stakeholder communication
- Lead stand-ups and other project meetings, inclusive of comprehensive notes, next steps and owners
- Perform sprint planning and manage team members accordingly
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues
- Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs using formal change control
- Ensure compliance with IT standards, security policies, and regulatory requirements
- Track project performance using appropriate metrics and tools
- Resolve conflicts and remove blockers impacting project progress
- Ensure deliverables meet quality expectations and business requirements
- Conduct post-project reviews and document lessons learned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Azure DevOps, Planview, Smartsheet)
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving, risk management, and decision-making abilities
- Experience working with cross-functional and technical teams
- Financial acumen related to budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
- Proven experience in risk management and change management
