Morgan Securities, and J.P. Morgan Self-Directed Investing, supporting clients with ~$400 billion in assets and ~4,000 advisors nationwide.As the Vice President, Affluent Operations Manager within J. P. Morgan Wealth Management, you will oversee a team of investment Client Service Professionals dedicated to providing exceptional service to high-net-worth clients. Your leadership will focus on coaching and motivating your team to deliver a best-in-class experience, emphasizing a culture of hospitality and client obsession. These professionals interact with our most affluent clients through both telephone and digital collaboration tools. Success in this role requires adaptability, a commitment to excellence, and the ability to foster high performance. Building strong partnerships within the business and collaborating effectively in a matrix organization are essential for achieving outstanding results.
Job Responsibilities:
- Partner closely and collaborate with respective client-facing teams and internal business groups to guide and deliver on the Affluent Service Model.
- Lead a passion for our Client First culture, ensuring a flawless best-in-class client experience and helping to shape the strategic vision for the team.
- Ensure talent and performance strategies are in place to coach, develop, and promote investment client professionals, including performing call monitoring reviews to ensure quality interactions.
- Lead integration with One Chase partners, including but not limited to Banking, Lending, and digital.
- Promote the firm's commitment to diversity and inclusion.
- Create a culture of risk and control that acts with appropriate understanding and urgency, with ultimate responsibility to safeguard our customers and our business.
- Be proactive; take initiative to identify solutions, have an entrepreneurial business spirit, and execute with a sense of urgency.
- Develop and conduct training when gaps in team and individual needs are identified.
- Translate knowledge of financial markets and economic trends in the execution of growth strategy.
- Guide success through coaching and developing the investment client professionals' ability to successfully deepen client relationships through proactive outreach and business partner referrals.
- Meeting collective team performance in alignment with business objectives and/or site expectations.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Partner across the firm to influence and define the strategic vision of the team, collaborating with various product teams.
- Proven track record of developing and coaching high-performing teams, and recruiting talent by building a personal network of contacts.
- High degree of investment services and product acumen, with a keen interest in the financial markets.
- Outstanding communication skills, attention to detail, and excellent follow-through.
- Strong sense of prioritization, urgency, execution, and delivery, with a commitment to upholding a sound risk and controls environment.
- Innovative and creative thought leader with exceptional problem-solving skills, familiar with call center construct.
- Ambitious, enthusiastic, self-directed, and energetic approach to work.
- Familiar with call center construct.
- FINRA Series 7, 63 (or equivalent) required, and ability to hold registration in all 50 states and territories; FINRA Series 9/10 (or equivalent) required.
