Description
Job description:You will manage international distribution and logistics activities to ensure continuous and compliant product supply to the company's customers worldwide. This role is hands-on, operational, and highly cross-functional.
About the customer:
Start: Asap (ideally 1st of Jan 2026)
Duration: 12-month contract (with possibility of extension)
Location: Baar, Switzerland
Workload: Full-time
Function: PO&T - International Logistics & Customer Service
Requirements:
- Manage finished goods shipments, replenishments and order-to-cash processes across multiple distribution models.
- Work closely with Global Supply Chain, Planning, Finance, Quality, Commercial and external logistics partners to ensure smooth execution of deliveries.
- Monitor inventory levels, identify shipment risks and implement corrective actions to minimize supply disruption.
- Prepare and maintain shipping documentation, invoicing, sales & inventory reporting, and support issue resolution meetings.
- Work within GMP/GDP and SOX compliance frameworks.
- Identify process gaps and drive continuous improvement to increase efficiency and supply reliability.
- Provide introductory training and guidance across Distribution & Logistics topics.
Competences:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, International Business, or equivalent professional qualification (e.g. Logistikfachmann / Exportfachmann ).
- 3-5 years experience in a logistics role, ideally within Biotech/Pharmaceutical or similarly regulated international environments.
- Strong coordination skills and ability to work across cross-functional teams.
- Analytical mindset with ability to simplify complex topics and communicate clearly.
- Experience in continuous improvement / Lean / Six Sigma is an advantage.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced environments managing multiple priorities.
- Experience with SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, PowerBI or TrackWise is beneficial.
