Description
Scarlet Assets Management Company LLC, or SAMCO, LLC is a business organized to assist Rutgers Athletics in maximizing revenue generation. This includes revenue derived through; the sale and client servicing of Multi-Media advertising sponsorships through Rutgers University properties and assets; the sale and client servicing of Naming Rights sponsorships of Rutgers University venues; Name Images and Likeness (NIL), season tickets, premium ticket sales, groups and individual ticket sales to Athletic and Non-Athletics sponsored events; and any incremental revenue opportunities that utilize Rutgers University assets.
The Manager, R NIL Fulfillment & Operations will work with the R NIL Team, SAMCO Team and Rutgers Athletics to fulfill and coordinate all activities and deliverables with Name, Image, and Likeness.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary contact for NIL accounts, serving as a liaison between brand partners, student athletes, teams, and athletic department staff
Lead the planning, execution and follow up of NIL deal activations, ensuring timely fulfillment, compliance, and a positive experience for all stakeholders
Build and maintain strong working relationships with coaches and student athletes to support seamless NIL activations and deliverables
Assume end to end responsibility of NIL cycle from contract signed to execution and proof of performance
Oversee all inventory management tracking related to NIL deals, including what has been proposed, sold and remains available to include weekly reports and internal meeting updates
Collaborate with athletics staff members to learn athlete interests and relevant information to support NIL opportunities
Prepare post-activation summaries and partner reports, including metrics, photos, and engagement results, to maintain client satisfaction.
Support the Director of NIL, marketing team and Corporate Partnerships team with fulfillment documentation, invoicing coordination, and renewal support for key NIL accounts.
Assist in developing standardized processes for deal execution, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and compliance with NCAA, Big Ten, and Rutgers policies.
Coordinate logistics for photoshoots, content creation sessions, and brand activations involving student-athletes.
Database administration - Enters and confirms all applicable data as it relates to inventory, sales, and clients into the company CRM (Salesforce). -
Track all inventory in SponsorCX
Event/Game Day - Working in conjunction with event university constituents, SAMCO team members, and partners to ensure all assets as designated by their contract are fulfilled. - Ability to act independently when assessing problems that occur on the day of the event/game to provide a swift and smooth solution.
Other duties as assigned by leadership team
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree
2+ years of experience in NIL, sports marketing, sponsorship activation, college athletics, or related fields
Understanding of the NIL rules and regulations
A history of success in a media, entertainment or sports organization would be strongly preferred.
Experience in a customer service/support role and a diligent self-starter and project manager
Innovative, energetic, and self-motivated with excellent communication and organizational skills
Superior knowledge of the MS suite with an emphasis on Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Experience with CRM (Salesforce) tools and systems management skills would be preferred.
Ability to work events periodically for business purposes and to work beyond normal work hours as department workflow necessitates.
