A well-established professional services firm in London is looking to appoint a qualified Audit professional to join its growing team. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of clients and gain strong exposure across a range of industries within a supportive and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage audit assignments from planning through to completion
• Lead audit fieldwork and coordinate engagement teams
• Supervise and support junior and semi-senior team members
• Review work and ensure audits are delivered to a high technical standard
• Report findings and progress to Managers and Partners
• Work with a varied client portfolio, including Entrepreneurial owner-managed businesses, High-net-worth individuals and a selection of listed companies
• Assist with ad hoc specialist assignments or projects when required

Candidate Requirements

• ACA or ACCA qualified
• Strong interest in working in a fully audit-focused position
• Previous experience in a similar external audit role
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines
• Up-to-date knowledge of Financial reporting standards, auditing standards and UK company law
• A working knowledge of corporate tax, including the ability to review draft tax computations
