The Glaucoma Center, PC is recruiting a fellowship-trained, Board-certified/Board-eligible glaucoma/cataract surgeon, and an ocular disease residency-trained optometrist. We are looking for a full-time or part-time talented, highly-motivated and compassionate physician to join our growing, well-respected referral based practice; a partnership track option is available. Our specialty practice, of almost 25 years, is motivated by one overriding goal - to serve our patients with the highest possible level of sophisticated, thoughtful and comprehensive glaucoma care. We are proudly privately owned.
Our modern and newly expanded office is fully equipped with diagnostic equipment including Humphrey visual field, Zeiss and Heidelberg OCT, Ocular Response Analyzer, fundus camera, IOL Master and more. We have two office locations and perform surgery at an on-site, ASC equipped with YAG, SLT, micropulse, diode lasers and Lensar femtosecond lasers, Alcon and B&L phaco machines and an Alcon vitreoretinal unit. Highly trained technicians and scribes are assigned to the physicians to provide full technical support and data input into our EHR.
Our practice has an extensive ophthalmic and optometric referral base as we are devoted exclusively to glaucoma and cataract care. Our reputation and successful outcomes continue to support the growth of our significant surgical volume.
Established in 2001, our offices are located in Bowie, MD which is a short driving distance to Washington, DC and Baltimore, and in the beautiful and historic Annapolis, MD, noted by some to be the sailing capital of the world!
