Pediatric Bone Marrow Transplant Physician / Cellular Immunotherapy (CIT) Physician
The Division of Pediatric Hematology, Oncology, and Stem Cell Transplantation at the Children’s Hospital of Richmond (CHoR) at VCU is seeking a pediatric bone marrow transplant physician/cellular immunotherapy (CIT) physician.
Pediatric Transplant and Cellular Therapy (CIT)
This role provides support for the division in its continuity of care for new and existing patients. The division and CHoR are part of the NCI-designated Massey Comprehensive Cancer Center. Currently, we are the only facility providing pediatric stem cell transplantation in Virginia. We are a qualified treatment center for gene therapy for hemoglobinopathies and CAR-T therapy to pediatric patients. The CIT section consists of a multi-disciplinary team working closely with the adult CIT program. The division offers a Pediatric Hematology-Oncology fellowship with support for a fourth year.
