Description
Job Description- Lead end-to-end delivery of telecom OSS/BSS projects, including Charging & Billing, OSM, and UIM.
- Work directly with business and IT stakeholders to manage project scope, planning, estimation, and execution.
- Oversee solution design, integration, customization, and implementation aligned with industry standards.
- Define inventory and discovery reconciliation models and guide data modeling engagements with vendors and service providers.
- Understand and drive automation requirements for order management and network build processes.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams, customers, partners, and present confidently to CxO-level stakeholders.
- Manage multi-vendor project environments and coordinate onsite/offshore delivery resources.
- Ensure delivery quality while adhering to project management methodologies (PMP, Prince2) and engineering best practices.
- Utilize project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, and Confluence.
- Require native Japanese proficiency with the ability to translate documents between Japanese and English.
- Cloud-native technology exposure and PM accreditation are desirable.
Responsibilities
- Define project scope, create plans, and estimate effort for both pre-sales and delivery phases.
- Engage regularly with stakeholders to set project goals, review progress, and manage budgets and resources.
- Build and manage the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) for all delivery milestones.
- Lead daily technical operations, task assignments, and team reviews.
- Support automation and process flows for order management (OSM/UIM) and Charging & Billing systems.
- Define inventory models and support discovery and reconciliation processes with vendors.
- Prepare and present project status reports for different stakeholder groups.
- Manage project risks, issues, and escalations proactively.
- Ensure compliance with audits, health checks, and internal quality processes.
- Review project financials such as bill rates, cost rates, scheduled hours, and resource plans.
- Ensure timely submission of timesheets, expenses, and adherence to resource management policies.
- Coordinate offshore and onsite team participation and collaboration.
- Support business opportunities including RFP responses and change request management.
- Use project management tools (MS Project, Jira, Confluence) to track and deliver project outcomes.
