As a Project Manager - Associate in the Equities Operations Transformation team, you will champion the strategic change agenda for the Asia-Pacific Corporate and Investment Banking Equities business. You will collaborate with Business Managers, Middle Office Leads, and Technology teams to deliver comprehensive solutions. Your role involves defining and managing project scope, performing root cause analysis, and documenting business requirements. You will keep stakeholders engaged and motivated while owning the delivery of key initiatives that drive business transformation.
Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Business Managers, Middle Office Leads, and Technology teams to understand needs and priorities
- Coordinate across business and technology functions to deliver comprehensive solutions
- Define and manage project scope, anticipating issues and recommending proactive solutions
- Perform root cause analysis to distinguish user requests from underlying needs
- Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements using various techniques and tools
- Engage and motivate stakeholders and project teams throughout project lifecycles
- Own and deliver a portfolio of strategic initiatives
- Analyze and document current and future state processes using BPM tools
- Prepare for and run User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Apply problem-solving skills to address operational and technical issues
- Utilize GenAI, Python, and data analytics tools to enhance project outcomes
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Four years of experience in the financial industry with a strong understanding of Equities workflows
- Detail-oriented business analysis and project management skills
- Knowledge of Trade Management, Settlement, and Prime/EDG
- Ability to analyze and document complex processes using BPM tools
- Proven track record in delivering complex projects for Front Office, Operations, or Technology
- Experience with GenAI, Python, and data analytics tools
- Experience preparing for and running User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Strong understanding of trade processes and flows
- Excellent problem-solving skills to identify and address operational and technical issues
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Experience working in APAC markets
- Certification in project management or business analysis
- Experience presenting to senior leadership
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements in Equities operations
- Experience with agile methodologies
- Advanced communication and stakeholder management skills
