Job Summary:
Hui Huliau is hiring a Cloud Systems Administrator to join our team!
The Cloud Systems Administrator is responsible for the installation, configuration & data security within the company information technology systems. This position is responsible for creating and maintaining standard operation procedures to protect the information systems and data ensuring compliance with the policies and regulations established by the company and relevant public agencies. This position will partner with lines of business to respond to evolving business requirements and emerging threats, and leverage knowledge of today's ever-changing cybersecurity and risk landscape to influence IT operations across the company. This position is hands-on and requires following processes, frameworks, and utilizing multiple tools.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
- Oversee the help desk personnel and ticketing system to ensure the timely completion of help desk tickets.
- Assist with executing the information technology strategy by developing, implementing, and managing the information systems.
- Assist with executing the cyber security strategy to support the cyber program within the organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate IT security into all aspects of projects, systems, and processes.
- Act as incident response team member to assist in recovery efforts in the event of security breaches or incidents.
- Propose risk mitigation measures for identified cyber security risks.
- Stay updated on latest information technology threats, trends, and technologies, and adapt security measures accordingly.
- Assist with the implementation of security procedures and training programs for all employees to create a culture of security awareness.
- Assist with the implementation of standards and controls to protect the organization's data, systems, and networks.
- Assist with the monitoring of operations and infrastructure; maintains security tools and technology that include firewalls, data protection controls, patching, encryption, vulnerability scanning, and penetration testing, ensures proper deployment, configuration, and function of the security & information systems.
- Assists with implementation of cyber security policies and procedures, regulates access to information, and trains staff on proper use of programs and systems.
- Assist with the evaluation and implementation of new technology that might alleviate risks and improve organizational efficiencies.
This is a remote position, with work being performed remotely and will generally encompass a standard workweek spanning Monday through Friday during regular business hours. Some after-hours work may be required for on-call, systems upgrades and updates.
Education and Experience:
- B.A. in a STEM major or equivalent experience.
- 1+ years' experience in IT or related experience.
- Experience in information technology with a focus in Microsoft cloud.
- Microsoft Role Based certifications
Physical Requirements:
- Predominantly Sedentary work. Work is performed in an office or home office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards. Requires the ability to walk short distances.
- Exerting up to 15 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
- Repetitive motion. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
