Responsibilities
Inventory Management
- Manage and optimize inventory levels to support core business needs, special initiatives, and strategic priorities.
- Oversee shipments, deliveries, receipts, and store billings to maintain appropriate stock at all locations.
- Conduct analysis of reporting to identify and resolve out-of-stock or low inventory issues and provide forecasting.
- Maintain accurate and consistent data by ensuring all products, warehouse, and sales details are correct and up to date.
Sales Analysis & Forecasting
- Analyze sales trends and historical data to forecast future inventory needs.
- Collaborate with sales, account management and supply chain teams to anticipate demand and prevent stockouts or overstocking.
- Prepare in-depth presentations and present inventory and sales reports to management.
Operations & Logistics
- Coordinate with product and warehouse teams to ensure timely deliveries.
- Evaluate auto replenishment orders and inventory status, reporting corrections and recommendations to internal partners.
- Support inbound and outbound logistics activities, including direct-to-store and warehouse shipments.
Merchandising Support
- Assist with planogram (POG) management and merchandising kit execution.
- Support new product introductions and seasonal merchandising initiatives.
- Partner with merchandising managers to ensure inventory aligns with promotional and fixture installs.
Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare weekly and monthly inventory evaluation reports, summarize and present to internal and external teams.
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as in-stock rates, inventory turns, and delivery metrics.
- Utilize inventory management software and reporting tools to provide actionable insights.
Project Management
- Lead and support projects related to inventory optimization, process improvements, and new product launches.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to execute inventory strategies for planogram resets, seasonal activities, and promotional events.
- Manage project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communications.
Qualifications
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in inventory management, supply chain, or logistics (retail or multi-location preferred).
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Technical Expertise:
- Microsoft PowerPoint: advanced presentation creation skills
- Microsoft Excel: advanced formulas, pivot tables, data modeling
- Microsoft Access: database management and reporting
- Power BI: large data-set management, visualization and dashboard creation
- Co-Pilot for Microsoft 365: AI-driven productivity and analysis
Preferred Skills
- Experience supporting large-scale retail operations (multi-thousand store chains).
- Familiarity with inventory management systems, direct-to-store delivery models, planogram, and merchandising support.
- Project management experience in inventory or supply chain initiatives.
