Responsibilities

• Team member of the CIO Equity and Fixed Income Analyst team, which services Private Banking and Treasures Private Client (TPC)
• Assist the Equity Analysts in secondary equity research of overall market, industry sectors and companies in the designated equity regions
• Assist in the preparation of regular updates to Relationship Managers, Investment Counsellors and Clients on market conditions and recommendations
• Assist to improve the team's productivity through automation as required
• Support and work together with the Equity Analysts to improve consistency and quality of content and recommendations. Work towards covering and taking responsibility of equities in a specific geography or sector.
• Work with other departments in the bank including CIO Office, GFM, Investment Products, RMs, ICs and with external research partners to improve quality of services provided.

Requirements

• Bachelor in Banking, Finance, Economics or a related discipline
• Good understanding of the equity markets and equity products (including developments or trends in the equities markets)
• Shows Interest in equity investments
• Proficiency in Excel (inc automation), Bloomberg/Factset
