Job Summary
Hui Huliau is seeking a highly skilled, motivated and experienced Senior Technical Recruiter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of sourcing, engaging, and recruiting top-tier technical talent across a variety of industries. This role requires a deep understanding of technology, an ability to identify high-potential candidates, and a strong network within the tech community.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective recruiting strategies to attract high-quality technical talent.
- Source candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking, and referrals.
- Build and maintain a network of potential candidates for current and future hiring needs.
- Actively engage with passive candidates to assess interest and qualifications.
- Review resumes, conduct initial screenings, and assess candidates for technical and cultural fit.
- Organize and conduct interviews, including technical assessments, behavioral interviews, and reference checks.
- Provide recommendations on candidate suitability based on technical skills, experience, and team fit.
- Work closely with hiring managers and department heads to understand hiring needs and job requirements.
- Provide expert advice on compensation, market trends, and talent availability.
- Manage expectations and timelines, ensuring alignment between candidate profiles and business needs.
- Maintain clear communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience, offering feedback and guidance.
- Nurture long-term relationships with top talent, even when there are no immediate openings.
- Stay current on industry trends, salary benchmarks, and new recruitment tools or technologies.
- Utilize data and analytics to continuously improve recruitment strategies and processes.
- Report on key metrics, such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and candidate quality.
- Assist in the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
- Conduct post-hire check-ins to ensure candidates are settling in well and meeting expectations.
Skills & Abilities:
- Strong understanding of technical roles and skills, and ability to quickly learn new technologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence hiring decisions.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities, with a focus on meeting deadlines and delivering results.
- Ability to manage multiple roles and candidates simultaneously, with a strong attention to detail.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent work experience.
- 10 years of experience in technical recruiting, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven success in recruiting for various technical roles, such as software engineers, developers, systems architects, and IT specialists.
- Experience working with recruitment platforms, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and social media tools.
Physical Requirements:
- Predominantly Sedentary work. Work is performed in an office or home office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards. Requires the ability to walk short distances.
- Exerting up to 15 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
- Repetitive motion. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
