Overview
The Showroom Coordinator is responsible for handling front desk and showroom activities, including giving showroom tours, explaining the benefits of the Humanscale products, answering and directing incoming phone calls and providing exceptional and professional assistance to clients and visitors. The Showroom Coordinator must be comfortable with general office tasks and requests, interacting with senior level clients and team members.
Responsibilities
- Greet visitors with a professional, pleasant demeanor upon entering the showroom.
- Manage guest registration and security software to measure showroom utilization and ROI.
- Demonstrate product functionality and convey the Humanscale stories to showroom guests.
- Differentiate our brand from the competition and connect clients to our message.
- Responsible for daily general appearance and maintenance of the showroom, front desk, and office cleanliness per the Showroom Management Guidelines.
- Coordinate showroom event with clients; including set-up, catering, and within budgets.
- Screen and forward incoming calls in a professional manner.
- Manage office access with building management and follow security and safety protocols.
- Assist building management with addressing any maintenance issues
- Assist with mail, couriers, stocking shipping areas, shipping packages and coordinating deliveries and processing daily invoices and checks.
- Assist with ordering supplies and organization of office stationery cabinet.
- Other duties as assigned.
Report facilities-related issues to the Showroom Manager (e.g., building maintenance needs, repairs, vendor/service requests, and any safety concerns).
Qualifications
- Customer service experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 40 Lbs.
- 3-5 years reception or administrative experience preferred
- Knowledge and/or experience in office furniture or related industry preferred
COMPUTER SKILLS:
- Proficiency in MS Office
