National Capitol ContractingPosition Summary
This is an ONSITE position located in Orlando, FL.
National Capitol Contracting (NCC) is seeking a Site Manager for an upcoming contract (*contingent upon award*). The Site Manager will be responsible for managing performance of contractual requirements and daily supervision of contractor personnel. The role will also be responsible for the overall management and oversight of work performance, serve as the point of contact for customer relations and for resolving all quality, timeliness, and accuracy issues.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Responsible for timelines & project plans, scope management, resource allocation, management of the resources, quality of the project overall.
- Attend any meetings determined necessary by the COR or the Contracting Officer to discuss performance of this effort or resolution of any perceived performance problems.
- Oversees project activities, schedule, and quality.
- Monitor contractor employee activities for such actions or behaviors that constitute fraud, abuse, or waste and take necessary actions to prevent or correct such occurrences.
- Ensure that adequate programmatic controls are applied in each task area, including scheduling, resources, direction, and quality control.
- Review all monthly deliverables prior to submitting to the Government.
- Identifying any barriers to successful program execution and escalating as appropriate.
- Managing contracts and agreements with clients to ensure all requirements are fulfilled.
- Providing regular updates on program status, including key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics.
Minimum Requirements
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance - Level: Secret (Must be able to pass a background and credit check).
- Familiarity with the United States Navy (USN) policies and procedures governing fraud, waste, and abuse.
- Analytical skills to break down complex parts of a structure or system into smaller pieces and understand how each contributes to the whole.
- Close attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- An ability to improve processes, minimize resources, and maximize the effectiveness of the program.
- Excellent written and verbal communication to take and give constructive feedback.
- Flexible and adaptive to a frequently changing environment.
- Ability to manage and lead teams of up to 25 people.
Preferred Qualifications (Not Required)
- Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
