- Software Engineer DevSecOps Architect

Job Summary:
ITS, LLC is seeking a highly skilled DevSecOps Architect with a strong software engineering background to design, develop, and optimize secure, automated Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) environments. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise in cloud-native architectures, containerization, and automation frameworks, along with a proven ability to support mission-critical software delivery pipelines within Agile development environments.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Design and implement scalable, secure CI/CD pipelines that support software integration and deployment across multiple environments.
Architect, manage, and optimize Jenkins infrastructure, including custom plugin development, pipeline scripting, and cloud deployment strategies.
Lead pipeline automation and integration efforts to streamline software build, test, and release processes.
Configure and manage Artifactory enterprise deployments across multiple sites for artifact storage, versioning, and distribution.
Oversee software repository management including Maven, Docker, Helm, PyPi, YUM, and Conan; ensure creation of custom packages, Software Bill of Materials (SBOM), and artifact vulnerability scanning.
Utilize and administer Atlassian tools such as JIRA and Confluence, as well as Mattermost, to enhance collaboration, issue tracking, and documentation.
Develop, maintain, and debug Kubernetes clusters at scale, including container image creation, Helm chart development, and deployment of containerized applications.
Integrate containerized workloads with cloud infrastructure components (e.g., ELB, RDS, S3, EFS/EBS) for high availability and resilience.
Apply strong programming skills in Java (static) and Groovy (dynamic) to support large, object-oriented software systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure software and infrastructure security practices are integrated throughout the development lifecycle.
Provide expertise in Agile methodologies and contribute to continuous improvement of DevSecOps processes.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Demonstrated proficiency with RHEL 8 and Amazon Linux.
Strong working knowledge of GIT, Cucumber, and modern development workflows.
Experience with large-scale Kubernetes management, debugging, and monitoring.
Proven track record in integrating secure software practices into CI/CD pipelines.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field; equivalent experience may substitute for education.
5+ years of relevant experience in software engineering, DevOps/DevSecOps, or systems integration with a focus on CI/CD automation.
Clearance Requirement:
- Active Top Secret security clearance
Salary Note:
