Description
We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for you to take your software engineering career to the next level.As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Consumer & Community Banking Team, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm's business objectives.
Job responsibilities
- Provide E2E Performance testing / engineering solutions for various application / projects
- Develop, design, execute performance test using JMeter or Blaze meter and understanding of workload model
- Troubleshoot performance issues in collaboration with architecture and development teams
- Performs root cause analysis and drives issues to appropriate resolutions.
- Improves the reliability and repeatability of performance testing.
- Proactively identifies hidden problems and patterns in data and uses these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture
- Contributes to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies
- Adds to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience
- Hands-on Performance engineering with different testing tools like JMeter/Blaze meter, LoadRunner, Web Load, Load UI, etc. for Performance testing
- Experience in scripting / programming with Java or Java Script or Python or Perl or Shell.
- Experience with Performance testing and engineering concepts for applications build on UI, API's, Java Applications, JavaScript applications and DB
- Experience with Performance Monitoring tools like Dynatrace, Grafana, AppDynamics, CloudWatch, Datadog, etc.
- Experience with Log Analysis tools like Splunk, Logstash, etc.
- Unit Testing experience with JUnit, Mockito/Hoverfly/Wire mock and hands on experience with messaging systems like KAFKA, MQ
- Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
- Demonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)
- Worked on cloud base performance testing
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience with AWS public cloud platform. AWS SAA certification is preferred
- Exposure to cloud technologies
