Description
As a Senior Attorney, you’ll take the lead on complex family law cases, guide junior attorneys, and play a visible role in both client strategy and team mentorship. Manage a high-value caseload of 40–50 active matters across divorce, custody, support, enforcement, and Family Court cases.
Serve as lead counsel in negotiations, hearings, and trials throughout New York State.
Develop and execute case strategies with support from a strong team of attorneys and paralegals.
Mentor and coach junior attorneys and law clerks, ensuring growth, consistency, and adherence to firm standards.
Draft, review, and finalize motions, pleadings, statements of net worth, settlement agreements, and prenuptial/postnuptial agreements.
Maintain exceptional client communication and uphold CLG’s client experience standards.
Work closely with our Client Consultation Managers (CCMs) for seamless client onboarding and engagement.
Requirements
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
Admitted to practice in New York State or eligible for reciprocity/admission under the Office of Court Administration (OCA).
5+ years of litigation experience, with family and/or matrimonial law experience preferred.
Strong courtroom and litigation skills with a record of success in Supreme and Family Court.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex, high-conflict cases with professionalism and empathy.
Proven ability to mentor, train, and oversee junior attorneys and law clerks to ensure quality, consistency, and adherence to firm standards.
