Description
Summary
Seeking a highly motivated and intellectually curious Project Manager to join the In-State Capacity Project.
In this role, you will directly support a team of two across time zones by leading external scheduling processes and by providing significant executive-level support. We will look to you to serve as air traffic control for the team – to use your exceptional communication skills and confidence to coordinate between our team members, with other teams, and with the organizations with which we are maintaining and modifying relationships. This will involve coordination of schedules across various time zones, attention to detail, keeping our data up-to-date and tracked, as well as careful people and project management. You will also be responsible with updating and maintaining our data management process.
The ideal candidate is committed to making the world a better place and is interested in countering disinformation, accountability for Big Tech, and the challenges technology poses to our democracy. We are looking for someone who will be comfortable engaging with multiple stakeholders in a professional and fast-paced environment. Taking initiative to ask questions and gain clarity on projects you are asked to support will help you quickly integrate into our workflow. You must be self-motivated and comfortable working in a virtual environment. Occasional in-person meetings happen throughout the year.
Most importantly, we will look to you to be a team-player, offering ideas and demonstrating your willingness to pitch in and help your team succeed.
