Description

Analytics Application Development Manager (Accenture LLP; Hartford, CT): Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Analytics Application Development Manager in Hartford, CT to support the client's Analytics Operations delivery. S/he will perform the following duties: Work with business Leads to develop, maintain and prioritize business data requirements for each business segment; Accept Business Intelligence service requests from the client's business partners such as Underwriters, Brokers and Sales Teams; Partner with various Client teams and stakeholders to ensure high availability of reporting applications; Create customized code using programming language such as SAS and SQL, generate the reports and deliver the reports to the business partner; Ensure timely development and delivery of scheduled reports to Clients and Vendors; Design and Execute tests of developed software reports; Implement automation and innovation strategies across client applications; and Conduct thorough analysis of data to assist in remediation of business reporting for changing data needs.

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

This position requires at least a bachelor's degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, Engineering (any), or in a closely related field, plus 6 years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience as an Associate Manager, Team Lead, , Software Engineer, or in a related IT position. This position also requires the following professional experience: 6 years of experience in multiple Business Intelligence Programming languages including Statistical Analysis Software (SAS), R Programming Language, Python Programming Language; 6 years of experience in writing Structured Query Language (SQLs) to extract data out of Teradata and Oracle databases; 2 years of experience in extracting data out of Hadoop using Hive Structured Query Language (SQL); 4 years of experience in data extraction and manipulation using business intelligence tools including SAS Data Studio, SAS Enterprise Guide; and 4 years of experience in data visualization using tools like Web Report Studio, SAS - Output Delivery System, Looker and Tableau Software.
