Company History
In 1914, Albert O. Reed opened a small plumbing and heating shop in San Diego and laid the groundwork for what today is one of the West’s leading mechanical contractors. A.O. Reed & Co. combines sophisticated engineering with innovative installation techniques to produce the best mechanical system for each project. Studying evolving energy demands in order to evaluate new products and systems, we stay on top of our industry’s technology so our clients will benefit from the most mechanically advanced systems available. We have recently evaluated and upgraded our own facility. The upgrades included over a million dollars in solar panels, for these efforts, we received an award from SDG&E for outstanding energy retrofits.
From the shop floor to the jobsite and boardroom, A.O. Reed & Co. professionals are dedicated to quality workmanship, uncompromising integrity and customer satisfaction.
A.O. Reed & Co.’s 55,000 square foot facility, on a three acre site, includes our sheet metal and pipe fabrication facilities, service department, corporate offices and one of Southern California’s most complete plumbing retail stores.
