Description
Application Development Lead (State Street Bank and Trust Company; Boston, Massachusetts): Will serve as senior lead across multiple front office project and data delivery initiatives, working on new technologies and innovative solutions for the business. Duties include: analyze design, and develop software applications to support Company; control and/or provide solutions to single and/or multiple organizations, with minimal management guidance; provide technical expertise in analyzing, designing, estimating, and developing software applications to project schedule; provide technical subject matter expertise in reviewing, analyzing, and resolving complex issues. Will be responsible for resolution, communication, and escalation of critical technical issues. Will prepare user and systems documentation as needed, identify and recommend Industry best practices, and manage other more junior application developers. Hybrid-remote telecommuting permitted pursuant to company policy.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field plus 7 years of experience as an Application Developer or in another occupation/title providing related experience.
Must have: Proven ability to work in a team of agile developers and ability to provide agile status notes on day-to-day project tasks; proven experience working on complex deadline driven projects with minimal supervision; proven ability to design/develop with minimum requirements by effectively coordinating activities between business analysts, scrum leads, developers and managers; strong hands-on experience in Java, HTML, JSON, Microservices, PL/SQL; solid ability with messaging technologies such as Kafka and MQ; demonstrated end-to-end understanding of software architecture, design, development and implementation; proven experience with continuous integration and build process, test automation and deployment; strong written and verbal communication skills; experience writing, reviewing technology documents including user guides. (Unless otherwise indicated, the Company is seeking no specific number of years of experience, and all experience can be gained concurrently.)
Salary: $178,131 to $230,000 per year.
The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
