The Strategy & Innovation Department at the Boston University Questrom School of Business invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Strategy & Innovation. This position will begin July 1, 2027 for the Fall semester at Boston University.
While we will review all applications, we are particularly interested in scholars that have research and/or teaching interests related to global business, broadly defined. Given the breadth of the department, we are interested in both management scholars who study the strategic and organizational challenges associated with managing business and innovation in global environments, as well as applied economists, whose research may relate to international financial markets, international trade and business policies, and global flows of knowledge and human capital.
Prospective candidates must demonstrate the ability to produce original and innovative scholarly work of the highest possible quality and impact; a PhD degree in business, management, or other closely related areas from a research university is required.
Special consideration will be given to applicants whose research focuses on areas of strategic importance for the Questrom School of Business (such as health and life sciences, digital technologies, sustainability and social impact, and global business), and who can contribute to building the department’s capabilities in strategic management, entrepreneurship, sustainability, and global business.

The salary range for tenure-track Assistant Professors in the Strategy & Innovation Department at the Questrom School of Business is $215,000 - $225,000.
