Davison Van Cleve, PC, a firm devoted exclusively to energy and utility law, seeks an associate attorney with 1–5 years' experience for its Las Vegas office. Our practice sits at the center of one of the most consequential developments in the American economy: the buildout of electric infrastructure to serve large-scale data center development across Arizona and Nevada. Associates work directly on the transactions and regulatory proceedings that determine how the Southwest's power grid will grow to meet unprecedented demand.

You will take on substantive responsibility early. Our associates draft and negotiate power supply, energy service and interconnection agreements, appear in proceedings before state commissions and FERC, and advise clients navigating utility tariffs, energy markets, and large-load service issues. This is not a document-review role — it is a direct path to expertise in a practice area where demand for skilled counsel far exceeds supply.

We're looking for excellent research and writing skills and a strong academic record. Prior experience in state or federal utility regulation, utility transactional matters, or energy markets is preferred but not required — intellectual curiosity and rigor matter more. Nevada State Bar membership is required. Some travel to client sites and regulatory forums in the region is required.
