DRA is expanding our presence in the Riyadh office in Saudi Arabia, marking an exciting step in our continued global growth. Building on our strong O&M experience and relationships with clients in the region, DRA Middle East is well positioned to expand our Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Management (EPCM) professional services across the region.
We are looking for talented professionals who are eager to contribute to projects, in line with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Vision 2030, supporting clients in the Infrastructure, Mining, Minerals and Metals Processing and Energy sectors.

Primary Purpose of the Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Controls Manager to lead project controls functions, ensuring effective monitoring, control and reporting of project cost and schedule performance. The role serves as a key interface with clients and project stakeholders, providing accurate insights to support informed decision-making and successful project delivery across all phases of the project lifecycle.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that planned work remains on track through robust cost and schedule control processes, proactive risk identification, and performance analysis. Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and analytical capabilities are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and control project cost and schedule performance
- Provide accurate and timely project reporting and analysis
- Interface with clients and key stakeholders
- Ensure alignment between planned and actual project progress
- Identify risks and implement corrective actions
- Lead and coordinate project controls activities across the project lifecycle
- Support project teams with data-driven insights and performance tracking
Eligibility Criteria
Individuals who wish to express their interest in these opportunities must meet the following minimum requirements:
- 10 to 15 years of relevant professional experience, ideally with exposure to large-scale, multidisciplinary projects.
- PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) registration will be advantageous.
- AACEI Planning & Scheduling Professional (PSP) / PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP) registration will be advantageous.
- AACEI Certified Cost Technician (CCT) or Certified Cost Professional (CCP) registration will be advantageous.

- Collaboration, networking and Cultural Sensitivity, ability to collaborate and build trusted relationships across geographies, time zones, and business units. This includes a high level of cultural awareness and sensitivity, particularly in navigating the social, professional, and organisational norms of Saudi Arabia. Successful candidates will be expected to show respect for local customs and values, and to adapt their communication and engagement style to foster strong, respectful working relationships in a cross-cultural environment.

Work Permit Requirements:
- Please note that successful applicants will also need to meet the eligibility criteria for a Saudi Arabia skills-based work permit, which includes verification of qualifications, years of experience, and alignment with the occupational categories approved by local authorities.
