The Company

Our client is an elite, newly established USD-denominated Venture Capital fund (founded in 2025) that has recently closed its flagship inaugural main fund at $500 million. Headquartered with a strategic global footprint across key financial and tech hubs in Asia and North America, the fund is dedicated to the investment theme of "The Globalization of Cross-Border Enterprises."

They primarily target growth-stage opportunities within AI, Robotics, and Consumer Electronics. Beyond their main fund, they operate highly flexible parallel vehicles designed to execute complex special situations, including Buyouts, MBOs, and spin-offs.

Led by a high-caliber founding team of former partners from tier-1 dual-currency funds and Big Four firms, our client operates with a lean team, a flat decision-making structure, and an entrepreneurial culture. They offer rapid career progression and a highly competitive, performance-driven mid-to-long-term incentive structure.

The Role

• Position: Managing Director (MD) / Executive Director (ED) - Sector Lead
• Location: Major Global Tech/Financial Hubs (Asia / North America)
• Target Ticket Size: $20M - $50M (up to $100M+ with LP co-investments)
• Reporting To: Chief Investment Officer (CIO) / Managing Partners
• Strategy & Execution: Formulate macro and niche-level investment strategies for designated technology sectors. Originate, lead, and execute growth-stage transactions on the front lines while managing and mentoring a lean investment team.
• Portfolio Management: Take a proactive role in portfolio management, leveraging deep domain knowledge to drive the cross-border expansion and globalization of portfolio companies.

Your Profile

• Experience: 10-20 years of private equity or venture capital experience at a tier-1 USD/RMB fund, or a leading Corporate Venture Capital (CVC) arm of a major tech giant.
• Track Record: Proven experience leading the investment, management, and exit of at least 3 growth-stage projects in AI, Robotics, or Consumer Electronics, with returns outperforming industry benchmarks (strong paper returns/unrealized marks are acceptable for exceptional assets).
• Domain Expertise: Recognized industry expert in the cross-border expansion/globalization of deep-tech, automation, or hardware sectors.
• Education: Degree from a prestigious domestic or international university; a STEM background is highly preferred. Fluent English is required.
• Mindset: A strong team player with an entrepreneurial spirit who is deeply aligned with the long-term gains of equity investing.
