Job Summary
The Field Service Representative is responsible for providing on-site technical support, including preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, calibration, installation, and customer training for analytical instruments. This role ensures equipment operates efficiently while delivering high-quality customer service and technical support.
Duties and Responsibilities
Perform preventive maintenance on analytical instruments.
Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues.
Repair and calibrate instruments at customer sites.
Install equipment and ensure proper operation.
Provide customer training on equipment usage and maintenance.
Manage inventory related to service activities.
Coordinate trip planning and scheduling for service visits.
Complete administrative tasks related to field service operations.
Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and support.
Work independently to resolve technical issues efficiently.
Travel extensively to customer locations as required.
Requirements
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining complex analytical instruments.
Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work with electronic schematics, test equipment, and repair tools.
Associate's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
Ability to work independently.
Strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
Availability for frequent overnight travel.
Valid driver's license and passport.
