Description
Finance System PMO role (12M Contract)Our client is a global organisation committed to fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. This role involves providing governance, oversight, and support for finance-related projects, with a focus on ensuring the successful implementation of financial systems that meet business objectives.
The role involves managing projects such as PeopleSoft implementation and data rationalisation across multiple markets in Asia. You will coordinate between local and corporate teams, facilitate communication, and support project deliverables to ensure timely completion. This position is essential for maintaining the integrity of finance systems and supporting ongoing operational efficiency.
Role Overview:
This position functions within the wider finance and IT teams, supporting the delivery of key finance system projects and ensuring adherence to project plans. You will serve as a pivotal point of contact between technical teams, finance stakeholders, and regional offices to streamline project execution and maintain high standards of governance.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Familiarity with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, Trello, or Asana
- Understanding of financial systems and software, such as ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics)
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools like Excel, SQL, Power BI, or Tableau
- Knowledge of financial processes including budgeting, forecasting, accounting, and reporting
- Experience with system integration, data migration, and interface development
- Ability to create and maintain technical documentation
- Familiarity with change management methodologies and cybersecurity requirements
- Knowledge of business intelligence tools and Agile project management principles
- Skills in system testing and quality assurance
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage project plans for finance system initiatives, including PeopleSoft, GL Data Feeds, and Rationalization projects
- Collaborate with local and regional teams to adhere to project timelines
- Coordinate risk management, issue resolution, and stakeholder communication
- Act as the primary contact between corporate and regional teams
- Facilitate submission of configuration and development requests
- Support UAT testing, including script development, defect logging, and training
- Oversee reporting activities and prepare updates for steering committees
- Assist with post-implementation support and day-to-day project activities
Requirements:
- Right to work in the specified location or eligibility to work
- Proven experience managing finance systems projects
- Available to commence on 22/04/2026 for a two-week contract
- Ability to work on-site
