The opportunity

In EY Tax, you'll have the opportunity to help the world's leading multinational organizations meet complex tax obligations around the world. You'll get a unique glimpse deep inside a company's business and become a trusted advisor, working collaboratively on a team that influences major business decisions. Your key responsibilities

1. Join the fast-growing Global Information Reporting & Withholding practice to deliver complex AEOI and other tax operations engagements;
2. Work closely with team members across the Asia Pacific region while you are also required to interact with teams in other parts of the world, e.g. the US;
3. Take part in various types of AEOI and tax operations engagements which include advisory, compliance, reporting and transformation projects for financial institution clients from all sectors;
4. Use the latest EY technologies in the engagement delivery;
5. Deliver innovative EY solutions which gives the unique value proposition;
6. Assist clients in handling enquiries or inspections from tax authorities and other controversy matters;
7. Assist in pursuits and the preparation of proposals.

Skills and attributes for success

1. Bachelor's degree or above inAccounting, Law, Finance or Economics, Business, IT or other relevant disciplines;
2. Excellent command in both written & spoken English. High proficiency in Chinese and/or other language is preferable;
3. Energetic, hardworking, strong analytical, business savvy;
4. Team player with strong communication skills;
5. Strong presentation, organization and management skills;
6. Good at Microsoft Office. Appreciation of visualization / data analytics tools would be welcomed.

Ideally, you'll also have

1. Experience dealing with clients within the financial services sector is strongly preferred;
2. Experience dealing with information exchange matters (FATCA, CRS, CARF, QI) or information reporting and withholding matters is a plus;
3. Mature, proactive, committed, highly motivated and driven team player.
