Our client, a leading Business Services multinational, is looking for an experienced Group Head of Treasury to lead a lean, high-impact treasury function. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will take full ownership of the group's treasury policy, cash and risk management, fund raising, and debt portfolio - playing a critical role in shaping the company's capital structure and financial resilience as it continues to scale internationally.

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned treasury professional to build and elevate a treasury function at group level, with high visibility to the C-suite and direct influence over the company's funding and risk strategy.

Key responsibilities:

Group Treasury Policy, Operations & Reporting

1. Manage capital structure and funding strategy to balance cost, risk, and credit rating objectives
2. Maintain banking facilities and relationships to secure funding at competitive credit spreads
3. Set treasury KPIs and deliver timely reporting to the Group C-suite
4. Lead implementation of an automated Treasury Management System (TMS) across debt, treasury, and cash operations

Cash, Interest Rate & Foreign Exchange Risk Management

1. Forecast and manage cash flow to minimise funding costs and maximise returns
2. Monitor interest rate and FX exposure, and design hedging strategies (transaction and balance sheet) based on market outlook

Fund Raising

1. Lead the end-to-end fund-raising process, including lender negotiations and financing recommendations
2. Review financing legal documentation and structure offshore funding with Legal and Tax, including FX hedging on a project basis

Debt Portfolio Management

1. Set and maintain debt management policies, processes, and controls
2. Oversee loan drawdowns, rollovers, interest payments, and covenant compliance
3. Review cash flow positions on financed development projects to flag surplus/deficit funds

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Banking, or a related field
2. Minimum 15 years of relevant treasury experience; with prior investment banking exposure, though this role is based outside a financial institution
3. Strong stakeholder management skills, with a hands-on, roll-up-sleeves approach to running treasury in a lean team
