The HEDIS Strategy Analyst role will provide critical support to the Project Manager by driving process improvement initiatives and assisting with business project management activities within the HEDIS Business Optimization team. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring rates across measures and contracts and lead small projects to support HEDIS/Stars measure performance.
What you will do
- Supports the successful execution of quality improvement initiatives and contributes to efforts that promote excellence in healthcare delivery.
- Assists the Project Manager with healthcare quality projects, performance improvement activities, and related initiatives.
- Works under close supervision to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics, helping assess process or product performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Performs routine audits and assessments to evaluate adherence to established quality standards and helps identify core areas where enhancements are needed.
- Drafts regular quality reports while presenting findings and communicating trends, performance, and improvement opportunities to management and stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years of relevant work experience or project support experience.
- Proficient in Excel skills including formulas, data and cell manipulating.
- Proficient in PowerPoint skills including creating slides, presentations, etc.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and execute multiple functional business objectives.
- Good business acumen, professional communication skills both written and verbal
Preferred Qualifications
- Quality Management/HEDIS experience preferred
- Healthcare experience preferred.
- Experience with MS Office Programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Education
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$43,888.00 - $93,574.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
