Position Overview
Notre Dame Preparatory School, an independent Catholic school for girls in grades 6-12, seeks a collaborative, customer-focused technology professional to join our Technology Department.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to support a vibrant educational community while working with a wide range of technologies including classroom technology, audiovisual systems, cybersecurity initiatives, cloud services, infrastructure and user support. The school seeks applicants who reflect and support our commitment to educating young women to be loving, just, and wise.
This is a full-time, 12-month, on-site position.
Position Summary
The Helpdesk Support Specialist provides technical support and exceptional customer service to students, faculty, and staff. This individual supports a wide range of hardware, software, classroom technology, network-connected devices, and cloud-based applications across campus.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Support
Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support for students, faculty, and staff while prioritizing responsiveness and follow-through.
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, printing, network connectivity, and account-related issues within the Microsoft stack.
Configure, deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows devices.
Support classroom technology including projectors, displays, document cameras, audiovisual equipment, and instructional technologies.
Manage device imaging, software installation, upgrades, and asset inventory.
Support copier, printer, phone, and voicemail systems.
Maintain accurate documentation and ticket records.
Technology Operations
Assist with cybersecurity initiatives, system updates, patch management, and security awareness efforts.
Collaborate with vendors and managed service providers to resolve technical issues.
Participate in technology implementation, upgrades, and special projects.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and knowledge base resources.
Occasional after-hours support for special events, projects, or emergency situations may be required.
Ability to lift and move technology equipment and work in various school locations.

Desired Qualifications
Successful candidates will possess a combination of the following:
Experience working in an IT support, help desk, or technical support environment.
Knowledge of the Microsoft environment including Windows, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Entra and Intune.
Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, network, and printing issues.
Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.
Ability to learn new technologies and adapt to changing needs.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Commitment to providing exceptional support to faculty, staff, and students.
Preferred Qualifications
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience supporting educational technology environments.
Experience with audiovisual and classroom technologies.
Experience with cybersecurity practices and endpoint management.
Experience leading projects, or coordinating technical support activities.
Compensation & Benefits
Notre Dame Preparatory School offers a competitive, market-aligned compensation package commensurate with the seniority, scope, and impact of this role. The anticipated salary range is $48,000 - $63,000 with flexibility for exceptional candidates along with a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement contributions, disability and life insurance, and generous paid time off.
