About the Role
Hyland's HR organization has grown significantly, and with that growth comes an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative, people-first team. As an HR Project Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting internal HR initiatives - managing smaller-scale projects that keep the organization running smoothly and allow senior HR partners to focus on strategic, high-complexity work.

Your Role Responsibilities - Here's What You'll Do
- Manage smaller-scale internal HR projects end-to-end, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and aligned with defined business outcomes
- Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders across HR, IS, and other internal teams to track timelines, deliverables, and execution against project scope
- Create and maintain project documentation including charters, project plans, and status reports that keep all stakeholders informed and aligned
- Facilitate organized and engaging project meetings, proactively surfacing risks, issues, and resolutions to keep initiatives on track
- Develop and execute communication plans that deliver timely and clear updates to all identified audiences
- Support risk management and change control processes while building trusted, collaborative relationships across the organization
- Proven experience in HR project coordination or project management with strong foundational PM skills - HR experience is a must
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with demonstrated ability to engage and align cross-functional teams
- Exceptional organizational skills with a consistent track record of follow-through and accountability
- Experience applying project management methodologies and tools in a professional setting
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in project management, HR, or a related field

- Microsoft 365 (M365) collaboration tools
- Familiarity with Jira, Asana, Trello, or similar project management platforms
- Experience supporting HR, Operations, or Shared Services functions within a fast-paced, growing organization
- Background in or exposure to tech or software company environments
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a proactive, ownership-driven mindset
- Collaborative, detail-oriented, and trustworthy - someone who earns trust through consistent delivery and strong interpersonal skills
- Clear mentorship from a senior HR PM, supporting your growth and onboarding from day one
- Cross-functional exposure to HR, IS, and broader organizational initiatives with global impact
- Strong development path in a growing HR organization with a trajectory toward senior PM responsibilities

Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor projects to ensure project results have an articulated scope with quantifiable business benefit
- Assist stakeholders to define success metrics and criteria for projects
- Apply project management best practices, project management methodologies, project documentation and tools, and market trends
- Coordinate activities of project resources to ensure project progresses on schedule, within budget, and in line with accepted requirements
- Create and maintain project documentation, including project charters and plans that specify goals, execution approach, staffing, and scheduling
- Facilitate project meetings; use engaging, informative and well-organized presentations
- Prepare project status reports and keep project sponsor and teams informed of project status and related issues and risks
- Develop communication plans; deliver timely and effective updates to all identified audiences
- Actively work with stakeholders to resolve conflicts and deliver actionable resolutions
- Assist with risk management and facilitate change control for projects
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Practical experience as a Project Manager, successfully managing projects
- Good experience with Microsoft Operating systems and products
- Practical experience in the using Project Management tools and methodologies
- Good collaborative skills, applied successfully within team as well as with other areas
- Good facilitation and project management skills
- Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills
- Good critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Good conflict management, interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Good ability to develop and use engaging, informative and compelling presentation methodologies
- Good business and technology acumen
- Demonstrated success in managing technology projects
- Demonstrated ability to influence, motivate and mobilize team members and business partners
- Demonstrated ability to operate at the highest level of integrity, professionalism, and forthrightness
- Able to thrive in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
- Sharp, fast learner with technology curiosity and aptitude
- Demonstrated practical knowledge and experience with Project Management methodologies
- Up to 10% travel time required
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the principal duties of the job
